Pelvic Pain
Revive Spine & Sport – Physical Therapy That Puts You First
Pelvic pain can impact your ability to move comfortably, sit for long periods, exercise, or even perform simple daily activities. Whether you’re experiencing discomfort in the front of your pelvis, deep in the hips, or across the lower back and groin region, it’s important to address it early before it becomes chronic. At Revive Spine & Sport in New Braunfels, TX, we help identify the root cause of pelvic pain and create a personalized treatment plan to restore comfort, mobility, and confidence.
Our patient-first approach is designed to not only ease your pain, but also restore your strength and mobility so you can return to the activities you love.

What causes Pelvic Pain?
Pelvic pain can stem from multiple sources including joint, muscle, ligament, or nerve issues. Common causes include:
- Pelvic floor muscle dysfunction (tightness or weakness)
- Sacroiliac (SI) joint dysfunction
- Hip or lower back issues referring pain to the pelvis
- Sports-related injuries or overuse
- Postural imbalances and movement dysfunctions
- Pregnancy or postpartum changes affecting the pelvis and core
- Repetitive strain from occupational or athletic activity
- Failed prior conservative care that didn’t address the root cause
Our 3 Step Treatment Process
At Revive Spine & Sport, we use a proven system for long-term relief:
Step 1: Pain Management
Our first priority is identifying the exact source of your pelvic pain using Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT) and movement-based testing. Once we know what’s driving your symptoms, we use targeted exercises, manual therapy, activity modification, and posture correction to reduce irritation and improve function.
Step 2: Return to Function
Once we have determined the drivers we begin focusing on strength training and mobility. By waiting until step 2 for this process we can be confident with progressively building your routine up until you achieve your goals set during phase 1.
Step 3: Prevention of Recurrence
Our goal is long-term results, not quick fixes. Upon achieving your goals we want to begin increasing your independence by reducing appointment frequency. From here some will graduate while others may choose to stay on a maintenance plan. This allows regularly scheduled wellness visits to assess progress and address any concerns.
The Revive Difference
At Revive, we put our patients first and prevent outside influences from dictating treatment. To ensure we can do this, we are out of network with all insurance companies. As healthcare has gone down the drain, there are two major contributors:
- Declining health insurance reimbursement rates that require providers to see at least one patient every 30 minutes. Overlapping patient sessions cut into your treatment time.
- Health insurance companies dictating the treatments approved.
Our approach ensures optimal outcomes, less time wasted, and a family atmosphere here in New Braunfels. We specialize in helping patients who have already tried conservative care without success, using MDT to guide every treatment decision.
