What you should know
Dr. Amanda Kurtz specializes in pelvic floor health at Revive Spine and Sport. She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Saint Augustine in 2021 and has a strong background in manual therapy and orthopedics. Before becoming a doctor, Amanda
worked as a physical therapist assistant, enriching her treatment approach with diverse clinical
skills. She completed her pelvic floor residency through Evidence in Motion.
Amanda discovered her passion for pelvic floor therapy early in her career, recognizing that
many individuals mistakenly accept pelvic floor issues—whether related to pregnancy or not—as
a normal part of life. She is dedicated to educating her patients and advocating for greater awareness and understanding of these conditions. Her goal is to improve patients' quality of life through personalized treatment and education.

In addition to treating urinary dysfunctions (such as stress and urge incontinence), dyspareunia, and bowel dysfunction, Amanda is committed to helping individuals regain functionality after general injuries. She emphasizes one-on-one treatment and a comprehensive evaluation of each
patient to identify the root causes of their symptoms.

Outside of work, Amanda enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, who is also a physical therapist at Revive, and their two children. They cherish sunny days by the river, along with Amanda’s passions for running, reading, and indulging in cookies.
